Cracking tips



The eligibility criteria: Can be from any background but must be good at mathematics. Recruits through campus placements as well as off-campus.


Written test:
Two written tests –

Test 1. Mathematical test – calculations +, -, *, / of two or three digits number and upto 2 decimal places.

Tough part is that you are given 40 questions and time is 6min. You are required to solve as many as possible and find your answer upto two places of decimal. Accuracy is given preference.

Test 2. Analytical test – 40 questions 30 min. General aptitude questions. E.g. round chair. G is siting next to F nd F opposite to A. You are required to find out where C is sitting… Something like this. Or some are very easy like you spend 20 paisa in one min. than how many in 3years. So it is general aptitude test.


Interview:


Interview is easy if you are able to clear through written. As the post is derivatives trader, so you are required to be tough as you are gonna work with real money.

This job is really very tough and is not meant for every person. Even in AC you will be sweating for most of the time.

So they will be directly telling you all these things in interview and they will also check how tough are you. No technical questions and if you have no knowledge about stock market even than its fine. But you should be confident


The written test holds the key. Do a lot of practice for number crunching and reasoning puzzles.

Joining to Settling-Down

What goes in the Initial Training? :
At max one week training. In general introduction to futures and options and about the company.

After training:
One to two months practice on simulator where u will be trading with virtual money but in the live market.


Company Feedback

How’s the company for freshers:
This company is good for those who want to go for MBA – Finance. As you will be working as a trader so experience matters a lot.

Bench Issues/Average Bench Period: No bench at all.

Nature of work/ Quality of work:
Work is stressful. Even you have to do the same thing i.e. trading everyday.

Career growth/Learning opportunities:
Career growth is not much there. No post in the company is available, in our branch there are 25 people one is manager and one is deputy manager rest all are traders. Initially great learning opportunities are there, as you will be seeing live trading for the first time. But then everything is same.

Job security:
No job security. If you are not able to make money you are out. No notice period nothing.
but you get minimum 3 months to stay once you enter.

Work pressure/Work – life balance:
Too much work pressure. Work time depends upon the market you get. US market evening 6-12pm. UK market 12.30-10.30pm.

HR/Management/ How friendly are the Company Policies:
Policies are ok. They are designed in just a way that you get maximum in hands.

Future prospects in company:
If you are able to stay in the company. It means you making millions. Coz you get 10% or even more of what you make for the company. Generally people who are able to crack the market get 1lac per three months as bonus only.

Positives Points of company:
Money.

Dissatisfying factors/Things which need improvement:
No stability. No security.

Do you recommend your company to others?

Yes, but only to those who wants to play it tough.

Comments regarding Dress Code, Cafeteria, Transport, Accommodation, Orkut access, Recreation and other facilities provided by the company:
No internet. No accommodation. Transport only available to 12 km from sec-63 noida. Dress code – formals Mon to Thurs. Casual – Friday.

Any other thing one must know before joining the company:
This company is like I-bank. Lots of stress as you have to have make money for the company. So you must have liking for numbers and should be able to maintain balance of your mind even in the toughest times. Most people leave themselves because they are not able to handle pressure. Once they make losses they go into depression. But if you are kind of person that you can make profits even after losses than you are for this company.
